The weird thing about some of the castlevania games I've seen is that Dracula has parts of his castle that are pristine, lavishly decorated wonders of baroque/rococo architecture and then there's other bits that are broken and on the verge of collapse. There's little in between.

@BatElite It's explicitly stated that Dracula's castle is a (possibly alive or even intelligent) being of pure chaos. It might have something to do with that?
