you ever think about how japan got one more main-series pokemon game than the west ever will, because red and green were never released in the west?
the japanese blue version was split into two games for the west, which were called red and blue. western red contains the updates from japanese blue, which was the generation's third version
@Felthry I thought hte western version of Red still used the older Japanese Red/Green sprites but Blue had the updated ones like it did in Japan? or am I wrong about that and misremembering?
@Felthry Oh yeah the bugfixes are for definite. Red/Green had some... pretty bad spritework it turns out. the changes to them were p. much for the better.
