welp at least file extensions for roms are all standard and

*looks at the .bin files which comprise both cd images for both Sega CD and PS1 (with accompanying cue files and sometimes mp3s for audio tracks), and also some Megadrive/genesis roms*
oh no

*finds also .SMD and .MD megadrive roms*

*looks at all the zipfiles for mame roms*
oh noooooo D:

@Nine cartridge-based ones seem to be pretty consistent at least

.gb, .gbc, .gba, .nds, .nes, .sfc, .n64

@Nine *nintendo cartridge based ones, at least

then disc ones have iso, bin/cue, and at least one other format out there

and that one really weird thing the psvita uses for its ps1 games

@Felthry heck I forget the Psp/psvita exists and I can emulate it. ... ... at least I think I can.

@Nine on a raspberry pi? psp would be a maybe, vita would be too much to ask I think

@Felthry yeah, I actualyl wasn't sure if the Vita and the PSP were different consoles at all, but I guess the Vita is actually a lot more powerful than the PSP, but yeah. I can't think of any games on the PSP I would actually want?

Follow

@Nine the vita is to the psp what the ps3 is to the ps2
