@Felthry Heard anything about this new one coming out? Tales of Arise?
-Katie
@squirrellilly just that it's coming out in september! i hope it's good
-F
@Felthry Me too. I've seen so few really good jrpgs lately and they used to be my favourite genre.
@squirrellilly the only recent good jrpgs i can think of are tales of berseria and xenoblade 2, hm...
-F
@squirrellilly bravely default 2 has its fans and i'd say it's pretty good but not like, really good
-F
@squirrellilly isn't there a remake of saga frontier coming out soon?
-F
@squirrellilly isn't there something like it's only out digitally right now and the physical release is next month or something? i remember something weird like that last we looked into it
-F
@Felthry I hadn't looked at it too closely since I didn't have a current desire to replay it.
@squirrellilly Fair enough!
If it is just a remaster, we might give it a pass and just play the original that we already have sometime, though last time we tried we found it kinda hard to follow
-F
@Felthry a trademark of the series past the original trilogy is a disjointed narrative. Scarlet Grace is a bit more straightforward than most. SF2 is another good choice since it can (though doesn't have to be) played chronologically
@squirrellilly Hmm. If it's *supposed* to be hard to follow, maybe we should give it another try then
-F
@Felthry I dunno if I'd go THAT far, but the structure certainly creates that effect simply by its nature.
@Felthry It's a simple remaster but it's already out. Tho admittedly, I have bad taste and much prefer SaGa Frontier 2.
