The Pomodoro Technique

Pomodoro is a technique for time management and getting things done. Here's what you do:

1. Decide on a task
2. Work on it for 25 minutes
3. Take a 5 minute break
4. Repeat above steps 3 times
5. Take a longer break

@lizardsquid Oooh, I've heard of that but not by that name. I tried it once, it very much does not work for me (I take like a half hour to wind down after working on a task before I can really have a break, and another half hour to wind back up at the end of a break, so five minutes...... just doesn't do it)

@Felthry that's basically my problem too - if I start doing more than stretches I get stuck doing something else

@lizardsquid @Felthry I find that the original implementation (where you write down your task list and put an X next to it only when you work on something for the full 15 minutes) helps me a lot.
I don't use this method nearly as much as I used to but that has more to do with working more as a manager and architect at work now. Still use it for personal projects though.
