There are a few important differences though:
- It is too important to recognize our own differences, both in birth and in deeds, because it represents the starting point and the direction we take in our lives.
- I don't put any importance in rituals for its own sake. Meditation is important, but for the purpose of self-reflecting on one's own actions and in dealing with the world.
- Worldly affairs are important, because there is a reason we are being put here this life. Each life is meant to teach us an important lesson life that we will take to the next, and some lessons can only be understood and learned through doing, and doing wouldn't matter if the world and what happens in it doesn't.
- Humanity is just a small scope of all of existence, to put humanity on a pedestal risks you felling into the egoism of human chauvinism.
- There are two sides to the Maya, both positive and negative. For example, failure to be angry in certain contexts can lead to more harm being done.
- Finally, merging with the collective conscious is by choice, but we arrive at that decision because we end up achieving nirvana. The end result is that our souls dissolve and reform with fragments of other souls to create a new being.
