You know what's fucked up? Folks who weren't old enough to vote in a presidential election can be drafted to fight in a war by a president they couldn't (and might not have) vote for. Like, I was just barely too young to vote in 2016, but now, theoretically, I could be drafted to serve in a war started by a president I couldn't vote against. Quite frankly, I find that to be rather fucked up.

I don't know why we're proclaiming it lately but hell yes trans rights.

All of this behavior is usually attributable to right-wing or ""centrist"" chuds who want to paint the entire left as a blood-thirsty crowd whom it’s impossible to reason with. But she’s targeting only the people who pushed back against her. Most notably, non-binary people who were hurt by her actions, and to whom she refused to reassure that she supported them.

So here’s what I’m most pissed about:

She’s taking those reactions, and frames the pushback against her behavior as transphobic harrassment for the sake of it. In a way, she depoliticized that pushback and made a two-hour video about "cancel culture" and supposed harrassment COMING FROM THE LEFT instead of addressing the criticism. Moreover, she showed a few post of the heated reactions against her, uncensored. She’s essentially painting a target on other trans (cont.)

When asked to clarify her stance, she doubled down on vagueness, and expressed a form of contempt to the concerns.

What happened next: pissed and heated reactions, that are, in my honest opinion, understandable from non-binary people worrying that one of the queer figures that’s the most prominent and influent towards people who are not yet sensitized to progressive issues might be working against their well-being and ultimately their survival.
