So, I'm looking at what's come out this year for games, and nothing's really striking me as a stand-out experience? Last year had a bunch of exceptional games and this year, there's a lot of solid games. Is there anything out there I missed and should dive into before the year is up?
@noiob Yeah, I've looked at what I've played, and thought, "Yeah, that was fun and good. But it wasn't exceptional."
Bloodborne and Wolfenstein Youngblood were a lot of fun. But not groundbreaking, y'know.
@PaulFerence I don't think Bloodborne came out in 2019 :P
@noiob Errr. Bloodstained
@PaulFerence Goose Game was pretty sweet
@noiob I think it's good, but it's more noteable for how it's gotten enmeshed in the internet consciousness than for the game itself.
@PaulFerence idk, the game sure is pretty unique
anyways, a lot of remakes and sequels this year
@PaulFerence the Resident Evil 2 remake was pretty great, I heard good things about The Outer Worlds… a bunch of Switch games came out that I haven't gotten myself yet. I had a lot of fun with Mario Maker 2
yeah, it's hard to come up with anything
