@gamehawk What we call a "sprabinetony."
sentimental crap
I'm not good at sincerity but here goes
A whole bunch of people on my HTL are saying that "people wouldn't notice if <they> left, and if people did they wouldn't care"
Well I'd notice and I'd care
If I'm following you, it means I think you're cool and that my world, and the world in general is massively improved by you being in it
I'd hate to see any of you go
vaguely genitalia
@bunnylyn In 7th grade art class, we had to make something functional and decorative. I made an ashtray with a tower. Everybody's work was returned with a grade except mine. I guess I forgot to put my name on it. When I asked about it, the teacher took it out and said, "What, this penis-looking thing?"
@Efi It's frustrating. Duolingo has Hebrew, so other right-to-left languages ought to be manageable. And it now has Korean, another script where vowels are sort of tucked in around consonants. I wonder why Arabic isn't already available.
That time when we all learned French. #mastodonmemory
@kibi Late 2013 it became free with new devices. I remember because it caused some confusion at my work and I had to figure out what was going on.
@vahnj
Does he can?
Listen, Jets.
His goods stack in your cabinets.
@envgen You would have been our hero. After like eight long meetings, we went with just "toilet" in English, Korean, Spanish, and Braille. (English was "bathroom".)
@robotsneedhugs This week I learned that Twitter does not offer an API for the "Report" feature. So you can't report abusive tweets from within, say, Tweetbot. I mean, come on.
Training
@Triplefox Wheee! Throws so fun.
Most of my little scares involve rolling over my bare toes on the soft, sort-of-sticky-tacky floor.
@WelshPixie Oooh, that's it, I'm finding a spot for a walk today.
sad for dogs
@eris Through body language alone, our dog Fonzie can express a range of at least a dozen variants on "vaguely-pleased neurotic uncertainty concerning praise and affection".
He/him. I teach academic Hebrew-Bible studies in grad school, and like Korean martial arts & interactive fiction.
