#OpenSCAD debugging tip. I wrote a small helper function which creates 3 cones among each axis, in different colors. Anytime I'm lost (mostly because of rotations) I just call this function, and use it as a reference for everything what's below.

hey folks, i am trying to buy a computer rn that i can use to work towards finding a job and building financial stability for my family.

i have a phd in computer science but underwhelming programming work history due to poor health and we're still living in quarantine so work i find will probably be from home anyways. i need my own machine to have time to polish my skills on hobby projects and freelance work to build a portfolio i can use to bolster my weak résumé as i've been unemployed for over two years.

my background is in machine learning and computer vision, so i need a computer that has or can handle adding a gpu for parallel processing, but we can't afford that cuz of part shortages
