Major thanks to whoever decided OneNote needed a rainbow glitter pen (they were right)
@soft_chomps@glitch.social The Amiga used hard-panning, which sounds really weird on headphones. (You couldn't have a sound play on both speakers at once.) So they've probably mixed the audio to make it sound better on headphones, but less accurate on speakers.
