Our Universal Credit statement went up today and our entire payment is £167 again. It's what I expected, but still a bit of a gut punch, especially as we should be getting about twice that, but they're clawing back overpayments and an advance.
It's so incredibly fucked up that the government considers student loans to be income equivalent to wages. They're fucking LOANS, it's in the name. Plus the fact that student expenses aren't taking into account at all. It's just "Hey, we're replacing your poverty level income with loans and you're gonna have to find room in your budget for books and shit."
