sega console JRPGs, blabbing
been playing some sega JRPGs (I say Sega because there's only like 20 on all the consoles total lol) and they're uh... haha, something so far. phantasy star 1 is almost unreadable because it's all in katakana, seems like a decent game otherwise though, and then I tried rent-a-hero and LOL it's fucking hilariously bad. i'll beat them but i just had to say into the void how weird they are. give me a good jrpg!

my little not yet complete entry for the gm hammer jam... edit sprites during runtime and save them. might be useful for something, like testing stuff in-game and not wanting to open up a real image editor. maybe i'll use it for my next project

At the same conference, I was talking to a woman who was enthusiastically describing her company's tech. I asked, "are you a founder, developer?" She was a founder.
Always assume people are experts, even if they don't "look like" your conception of an expert.
You'll either be right, or if you're wrong, it'll still be a respectful assumption. And it'll probably be a relief to people constantly needing to justify why they belong in a space.
but, on the plus side: it has every single season of power rangers on it.
