thinking about the “bandits” in lightning returns who seemingly live together in one of the few remaining human settlements peacefully, and are seemingly only interested in ...archaeology? is it just a weird translation?
the group are apparently described in Japanese as 「盗賊団」, so, yeah, I guess translation has nothing to do with it, they just hang out at the end of the world playing make believe that there’s anyone or anything to rob?
@noiob they don’t seem very adept at it? Also the tombs seem to be stripped of anything of value other than artefacts only the saviour or some other specific chosen ones can even use?
