@DrSagan usually you just solder a CR2032 holder / a socket for a wired one to the motherboard

@DrSagan like, on a desktop it'd look like #1 and on a laptop you'll probably see it like #2 (that's just a standard battery with some wires welded to it, then wrapped in heatshrink)

@noiob i mean, that kinda looks like it's made to make replacing them more easy?

@MochiWaifu you kinda have to take apart the entire computer to get to them, so I wouldn't bet on it

@MochiWaifu …also you have to remove the daughterboard from the chassis before you can even get to the batteries
