okay

firefox as it currently is? is miles better than it used to be, and im very happy using it over chrome, finally after all these years

HOWEVER

please why would you make it so any empty part of the ui is registered as "oh you want to move the window?" when i click and drag even a tiny bit with it

@noiob thats not what i mean

id imagine that even if i had a separate title bar, it would still count the empty space on a window as "click and hold to move the window" thing

@avie the only reason the empty space lets you move the window is to make up for the lack of a title bar

Follow

@avie also you can remove the weird empty space on the sides of the url bar

· · Web · 1 · 0 · 0

@noiob consider the importance of aesthetics and usability with this though

i *want* those to be separated like that. i dont want it to cause the window to move. that doesnt seem like a big ask

@avie idk I think they're a waste of space, personally

@noiob thats you

i prefer to have them , because it looks nice to me and i like having the segmented areas for specific things. but whether we like them or not is completely beside the point im getting at

@avie I don't actually want to argue about it, all I was telling you is that you can not have that for the tradeoff of having a title bar

open a ticket on the firefox bug tracker if you want it changed

@noiob also adding a titlebar causes less website to be shown ultimately speaking and is basically like installing one of those toolbars in internet explorer. pointless and gives you less to see. its why i dont have the bookmarks toolbar enabled except on the new tab screen as well
