@suricrasia yesterday i plugged a microcontroller into the link cable of the game boy advance and it drew so much power that the screen turned off but it played the bios sound out of the speakers

@suricrasia also i accidentally pumped 3.3v into the port and the power light turned on even though the console was off which was very funny to me

@monorail @suricrasia oh yeah I had an effect like that when connecting two GBAs, you could switch one of them off but the screen stayed on (but blank), dunno if the LED stayed on

@noiob @suricrasia i actually was looking for a link cable with vcc but couldn't find one, i thought maybe some third party would be lazy and put all the pins in but at the end of the day i had to desolder the connector out of a gba->gc link cable and deadbug off of it
