Does anyone have any good idioms for "changing an ongoing plan on-the-fly in response to new information"?
I've picked up "calling an audible" from IDEOTV but the sports metaphor doesn't fit in my mouth quite right.

@starkatt "Winging it"? "Improvise"? "Adjust from there"? Hmmm... If for a corporate audience: "Iteratively reevaluate our approach moving forward".

@starkatt I'd either call it "re-improvising", "doing it live", or "playing Xanatos Speed Chess", depending on the exact circumstances. XSC is usually reserved for when matching wits with another person who reacts and improvises just as fast as you can.
