goku tried using his saiyan powers to make mochi, but it turned out really poorly. when asked how he was feeling about the experience, he had this to say:

ki mochi ga warui

this has to be one of the nichest jokes i've ever posted

every time i get a bewildered reply to this post, my power grows

re: goku tried using his saiyan powers to make mochi, but it turned out really poorly. when asked how he was feeling about the experience, he had this to say:

@typhlosion i know mochi is a food and warui means bad and ga is like. a topic marker? i think? but i have no idea what this is or what it's a joke about

explaining the joke re: goku making mochi

@Felthry "kimochi ga warui" means "a bad feeling" or "a bad mood"

but "ki mochi" (typed that way) could also be interpreted as "mochi made with ki" (ki being the internal power that makes saiyans able to do energy blasts and stuff)

in which case it would be "the ki mochi is bad"
