question about nintendo thing

this nintendo switch online thing, apparently you get a bunch of NES games on VC for free with a subscription? Do you get to keep those if the subscription expires?

@Felthry basically it turns out that they have a growing library of VC games. You get ALL of them when you get the pass, and every time they get new ones, you get those added too to your account... I don't... think you get to keep them though.

@Nine bleh

re: question about nintendo thing

@Felthry yeah it's kinda a shame :< I don't think you get to keep games you downloaded on PS+ though if your subscription expires either though... I mean if you renew your subscript you get access to them again though, even on the nintendo platform at least...

re: question about nintendo thing

@Nine we've literally never used a subscription online service before, ever

re: question about nintendo thing

@Felthry ahj fair enough. if it helps nay, the switch's online subscription system is.... kinda ridiculously cheap??

like it's something ridiculous like £10 for a YEAR'S subscription. It's that much for just three months on Playstation 4.

re: question about nintendo thing

@Nine $20 a year here. I dunno if we use online stuff enough to justify even that though

re: question about nintendo thing

@Felthry oh heck what the hell o_o that's a lot.

@Nine it's about 50% more than £10, going by current exchange rates
