...might be the tv cable is buggered, might be the AV connector on the spectrum itself. power goes on, but I can't tell what it's doing or if it loads tapes. beh.

@Felthry I sadly only have the default RF cable which is a single cable that connects to the old analogue aerial socket on the back of the tv and a single port on the back of the spectrum labelled "Tv". I never managed to get the old composite RGB DIN plug one, which would be handy honestly because RGB DIN to Scart is fairly common apparently??... but ... I dunno, I don't really feel like sheling out to get it working to sell it c_c;
