So basically they’re letting 4000 to Zen 2 mobile CPUs, as well as APUs. Because before that, APUs with the same generational number were one architectural generation behind, like, the Ryzen 5 3400G was Zen+ and not Zen2 like all the other 3000
So by skipping the 4000 for the regular CPUs and letting that number only for APUs, they’re letting them catch up and the eventual Zen3 APUs will be numbered in the 5000s like the rest of the Zen3 range
It’s confusing for now but it will make things less confusing in the long run
@Nine or a 3700x if you want a bit more power, or a 3990x if you want an absolutely ridiculous amount of power
