@spiderrobotpig the lucky witches who join today will get showered in content =3 i've even got some fancy looking old grimoires like Grand Grimoire and Grimorium Virum that like all pretentious works of the 18th century by ceremonial satanists/hellfire club type business are claimed to be from the 1600s! Plenty of classic satan and solomon type shenanigans in the grimoire section
@spiderrobotpig You are already here :D ~ loading things to mass shareable format and plotting release schedule now =) (Alchemy contains 300 individual texts/charts/symbol guides, so =3)
This is basically the first time we've sorted a venue for distribution of a decade of collection/organizing/hoping to fuck all the labors of other digitization-heavy librarian occultists didnt get devoured by the internets and keeping backups
@starkatt See folder 1: Chaos magick/modern shamanism =3 I'll begin soon just have the tail end of an hour to go =) Also had to write some sort of well worded "this is all nonprofit fair academic usage and nobody is permitted to monetize any content within (though may share)- none of the content belongs to those responsible for digitization and please notify (our awoo) if you you feel something has been filed wrong, or you own content and don't want poor magick sorts to read your work"
@bonhomme Enochian it is =) We've got a handful of books on geomancy, and then just one organized so far on remote viewing (though there is a lot still to categorize once the thousand or so texts thus far are up). Nothing telekinesis wise, though have a kinda nifty 1840s-1920s stuff on classic psychical/mental power research- its obviously a bit out there but its an interesting look at past views of that kind of thing.
@bonhomme You may =) Sharing is lovely and important and the whole point of curating a library collection. Just refer to it with same title ideally as we're hoping to develop/add/improve it gradually and give it somewhere home-like over time. The only credit we can take of course, is the decade process of accumulation, scanning with other groups, and preserving/organizing it into appropriate subjects, which is something still in the process of doing cus sooo much stuff =3
@bonhomme we've not really turned it into a sharing projecty thing with everything collected until this point/medium- basically been hoarding digitized occult content and working with others trying to fight the death/loss of information over time, and doing it for that long for own devouring and knowing it would be important nothing go away. The contributors to scanning process are many and largely lost over time *nod*
Sharing here provoked finally giving our collection a title =)
@bonhomme
Cut and paste is fine- been ensuring to place a readme file in the folders shared mentioning fair usage for academic purposes, contact email and here if any questions/concerns/halp/feedback, etc as well so that people can look use that if need be. It's being released to the wired, now- fly, pretty magicks =)
@bonhomme this helps lots ^_^
@bonhomme feedbacks and ye shall receive *giggle* After we complete dinner and feel enough digestion time between posts so as to not overwhelm has occurred (gotta show love for those west coast witches not yet off work to get exposure - and as they get off work in an hour or two, australia begins to wake up =3)
@bonhomme That would be viable! We'll likely collect the completed initial sharing phase and feedback results and take the posts made, improve if necessary- and then take to an account for it to be kept and maintained there *nod*
@MinUmbra I'm definitely curious to see how your alchemical research and mine line up. :)
@MinUmbra got anything related to building communication with spirits/gods/etc or figuring out novel personal pantheons?
