I called my Raichu "Duracell" (brand of batteries)
I also have a male vulpix I named Clooney. Presumably after George Clooney who voiced Fantastic Mr Fox in the film by the same name based on the Roald Dahl book by the same name. . because I am creative(ly bankrupt)

Okay we're in the book and I have a Sandslash named Segata??... oh god. Segata Sanshiro... Segata SAND-SHIREW. jesus fucking christ.
Oh nice! I have a Haunter I named Hopkirk, as in "Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased)", an old (somewhat silly) detective series where a detective and the ghost of his dead partner solve crimes together.
I have a Draognair I named Freya but I can't think why. :/
