TFW the suggestion the asshole made works, but only when it's done precisely the way he says do it, there's no clear reason beyond rote memorization of a pattern that this should be the way it works, and it's not worth it to you to memorize this shit because you have better things to do with your life than coopt more of your brain into the Technocratic paradigm.

@literorrery The fact this person is 233k with answers and comments of this quality troubles me. I can see why so many people I know complain about SO being full of assholes now, to the point of steering clear of it.

@Goldkin I was hoping you'd see this, honestly. Not that I enjoy being the bearer of bad tidings, but at least now I can point to something tangible when I talk about systems not being immune to human influence.
