I think it was the google one and it had this gloriously fucking sassy walk with its nose held high and it was the GREATEST FUCKIN' EMOJI EVER an d they've changed it and now they're all just basic as hell i mean they look okay but god. what the fuck. you destroyed true fuckin' art. rip sassy skunk emoji, you were murdered before your greatness could be known ;;

@noiob oh yeah totally, like a mouseover. that may be intended given the first frame always seems to be like... the full emoji, without movement, in a nice readable format.
@Nine Telegram has some animated stickers (which you can't not let animate at least once) that get stuck in a config that is completely unreadable, it's great

@noiob yah same. there's some moomin ones that are really cute too but i'm bugged by how off model Little My, Snufkin, and Snork Maiden are.

@noiob I still find animated emojo far too distracting. like every time they move they draw my eyes and make it impossible for me to read what people are typing so i really hate them ;w;
