the fact that ostatus is based on rss so I can track artists in my rss reader already makes mastodon/gnusocial/ostatus a better platform than furaffinity
(in my humble opinion as a non-artist)
there is not enough cute furry art on mastodon and that is quite a shame
tusky seems really eager to open account pages in the web browser which is especially annoying because I use firefox mobile on a 2GB phone

having one account each on a few different instances makes a lot more sense than having multiple accounts on one site
plus it's much, much easier to use multiple accounts in the browser (rip multifox)
I need a mastodon instance to talk about competitive overwatch because I know that'll be the only place where people will care when I talk about the game

this serves from s3 right now but if I set it up right it should serve from cloudfront once cloudfront finishes setting up
a neato thing about ostatus is that if you really, really care about the politics of the instance you use, you can clone mastodon/gnusocial and run your own and no one can stop you.
