honestly playing the new x2 content makes me wish LW2 was.... I dunno. I wish the new content could be included. I may seriously go back to LW2 again and try to play as minimalist-modded as possible to see if it avoids bugs.

So. I've played serveral hours (like hundres) of Longwar 2. The buggy, half-complete project it is.

But WoC (and the Legacy DLC) is... oddly endearing. I miss the class variety but playing something that feels ostensibly balanced is nice.

Also that final legacy mission? Fuck that feels like a loveletter to the community in a way.

Also like, It isn't much of a stretch to me, but a reframing of Gaston as the lead, and having him win at the end and now he's a thinly veiled nazi propaganda cartoon about a strong, manly, straight dude ""rescuing"" a woman from a monster who is ugly, rich.....
