@SleepyGem Yeah, but I figure if we can put a checkbox in peoples' profile that lets people federate their private posts if they're happy to take that risk, I think it'd make a lot of people happy without compromising peoples' security and safety by default. Lotta folks wanna be able to share their private posts and don't care that servers might be untrustworthy.

This is weird, since this was mostly my "do whatever ya want" account that involved a lot of porn and lewdness whereas masto was where I kept my head focussed and filtered just enough to translate into interesting thoughts and conversation

I try not to let others' opinions rule my life, but apparently it still really hurts and confuses me when people I even a little bit like talk about how terrible someone or something else I like is.
