The part of me that allows me to act on my own has stopped working, and I don't know how to fix it. There are things I need to get done, but every time I try to do them... I instead just enter a blank, mindless state until someone checks in on me.

I really miss DJing, and having a stronger connection to music in general. Last few years have done well at ripping a lot of that out of my life and I'm not sure if/when I get to have any of that back.

@maloki Gofundme is overwhelming. It's expected, even required, that you upload media just to create the campaign in the first place. Every time I get started, I drop off at the "Ugh... I have to record a bad mobile phone video or somehow make my destroyed-car photos fit into the gfm page, right this minute or I can't continue" step.

Ko-fi was so much easier to set up, let me set a goal without the awkwardness of running a campaign, and allowed me to link to other meaningful ways to help (like my Bandcamp page). Given that I'm still trying to actually earn a living, Ko-fi seems like a bridge between asking for help and developing something more sustainable, while gfm kinda feels like a huge up front hassle that, if it even gets fully funded, doesn't really translate into something that I can carry on with after it's done.

Facing roughly $7300 in debt that's a combination of medical bills and other expenses stemming from a car accident back in October.
