re: Stranger Things s3 spoilers

@jdlwerewolf@snouts.online s3 was really bad. Did not feel at all like a Stranger Things season.

An intrinsic part of art creation, that isn't often discussed, is how fragile our creations are while we are working on them.
Text can get erased online and paper can get torn or lost.
Sewing can get easily cut or drinks spilled on them.
Electronics can get pieces lost, broken, or corroded.
Don't even get me started on code.
Art is fragile y'all. Thanks for making it despite that.

@kd@yiff.life I like that you're already digging into things like counter-melody with your bass patch.

@eve@snouts.online Signs point to yes? 🎱

@Ratttz Oh, well, not throwing work out is good. Especially since you get really mad at me when I do it.

@kd@yiff.life I don't know how long Union will be on sale so grab it quick if you can. I don't remember it being as expensive as the others, but it's definitely not so cheap all that time.

@kd@yiff.life There's a wavetable synth called "Union" I've been leaning on recently. It makes big sounds, especially bass stuff, and it looks like it's on sale for £5.99 at soundspot.audio/downloads/unio

Additionally, "Massive" (not to be confused with the newer "Massive X") has been my go-to synth for many years. It's very capable, but has a steep learning curve and a $150 price tag.

There's also "Serum", which is powerful, easy, and popular right now, priced at around $190.

@kd@yiff.life You got any particular genres or styles you're aiming for? VSTs are often narrowly focused on those details.

Progesterone weirdness

Does anyone else on higher progesterone doses (200mg+) develop a sensation of being *really* drunk after a couple hours of taking their dose. Little dizzy or trouble reading computer screens. Speaking without sounding incoherent requires deliberate concentration? Facial movements are a little sluggish? Physical sensations are kinda amplified and fuzzy. Feel more grounded when my eyes are closed. No numbness.

At first I though I might be having tiny strokes, but the sensation is just... 100% identical to when I've had 4+ shots of hard liquor in quick succession. Lasts about 30 minutes and then I'm completely back to normal. No memory issues. No lasting effects after it goes away.

Also no hangover sensation, which is really nice.

Podcasting, Doctor Who Scream of the Shalka, Sex Archie

Some friends of mine do a podcast about 2000s Flash animation, and their latest is about the Doctor Who reboot Scream of the Shalka. It features guest star Grant, of the History Honeys and Sex Archie podcasts, who is also a hardcore Whovian.

@Zeny@snouts.online Ask a "normie" how they're different from furries or other groups they don't like and listen for whether or not they drop the word "normal" to describe themself...

Hypnosis, Youtube

A few people suggested this and I figured why not as it would get my stuff out there for more people to see. I made a Youtube channel for all my audio files and they will be uploaded there as well as on FA. So feel free to subscribe if you want. ^^

@Zeny@snouts.online This was actually pretty fun to play on. The TV tuner was crappy though.
