Food, insects

@kd@yiff.life thank youuuu

@kd@yiff.life the bubonic plague? Yeah it can’t always be treated especially in advanced cases but we can stop the source by avoiding rodents. Also very low fatality for most types if it is caught early and treated.

@kd@yiff.life really it depends! Some stuff spreads fast and can get out of hand quickly (see: current situation) but especially right now with the entire world on high alert unless something truly novel and nasty comes out of, say, the permafrost, it is extremely unlikely to be a population wide problem.

@Metonymy @kd@yiff.life especially when it comes from ~a place in particular~ as if no where else could ~possibly~ be a disease source 🤔

@kd@yiff.life the multiple yearly high alerts for potential new flus have been legit stressing people out so much I feel bad...

If you follow bioscience news you get used to hearing about a potential new flu every couple of months.

Plant death

@salameleon@snouts.online Sometimes supplementing with a grow light or even a daylight light bulb can do wonders!

Good day out in the garden! Used the ole garden knife to chop up a hawthorn bush, chilled with the European goldfinches, and had some snow peas.
