anyway all I'm saying is don't fucking pretend you give a shit about harassment and justice or whatever if you're gonna do exactly what stalkers/abusive creeps want you to do to get them off your back. it is so fucking shady.

I'm fine with something like being blocked for violating rules or something, but oh don't act like I did anything fucking wrong here when this is only an issue because people stalking me want to harass me and stir up trouble.

I mean people are allowed to block whomever from their instances of course, but it would be really nice if admins didn't pretend they cared about protecting users from harassment while also blocking victims of said harassment. it's disappointing cowardice at best, and willfully ignorant with dangerous consequences at worst

please at least take actions to show you care. administrating is hard, sure. but for your users' sakes please don't just appease bullshit stalkers.

I'm having a lot of trouble with this. I've been trying to be very open about what I've been through and things we've dealt with, but we're being punished for being a target by admins who supposedly care about harassment...

what kind of message are you sending if you cave in to pressure from harassment groups like KF though? it's all lip service at that point. ban victims when it's inconvenient to have them around; look like you care about your users' safety. cool job

their admin ace says that they're against harassment, but as far as I can tell I'm blocked because of KFers harassing people into blocking me for no good reason

I don't get it. I'd be fine if I were blocked for things I actually did, but all I've been doing is trying to express the hellscape that my life has been with literal stalkers trying to intimidate people into disavowing me for bullshit reasons

if you REALLY want a picture of why you should not and can not believe in anything that comes from KF, please read it. it's the kind of knowledge you need to empower yourself with to protect yourself and your friends from abuse, too.

anyway just thinking about how KF uses the pretense "oh we're protecting children" to justify all of the horrible abuse at me (what children??? I don't fucking talk to children!!!) while simultaneously archiving all of the photos my best friend stuck on twitter of his young child, just telling him to get over it when he expressed his shock and horror.

that's how you can tell how sincere KF is about Protecting Children.

like, gghhh, especially if a conflict is done and over, and every party has tried their best to resolve it. there's no fucking reason to keep dragging that negative shit forward. it helps NO ONE.

it keeps bad feelings around uselessly, and creates this bullshit where people feel comfortable being able to rag on a thing that's been resolved for years just because they can point to something out of context and go "look! I'm better than this!"

it's so frustrating. of course there are times when you wanna signal that you don't want x people in your space, like nazis or whatever. but when you do it about personal and complicated grudges, that's... kind of... bullshit?

you're making it difficult for people to have conversations around you, and closing yourself off to more and more. people need to stop projecting their bad feelings onto others who it doesn't concern (esp if it was a one-off thing!) -- THAT'S manipulative

god. im just thinking about people who simultaneously 1) accuse someone of manipulating people, while these same people 2) tell others that if you're friends with x, you're not friends of theirs.

my dude, that is called: using fear to manipulate people you know into not questioning you or challenging you. it is the most middleschool thing imaginable. what are you even doing.
