Update on house stuff
I started our network install yesterday :D
First was a little CAD work (cardboard aided design), then I used that to cut a wood board for mounting... Then a run to the garage for the net coming in.. And lastly, all the equipment.
Major score at the thrift store today! All the furniture in this picture were acquired for less than $80 all together. :D

The room we were painting was getting super humid, so I opened up the window and sliding glass door. ...but then it got super cold, and I didn't have a heater, but I did have a ladder and a hairdryer... #thereifixedit

Today, I got the first speaker from the Klipsch 5.1 system I ordered. It's the center channel, and it's twice the size I thought it would be.
This... this is gonna be good.
I cannot express in words how incredibly inspiring it is to see a trans woman on stage as the lead singer of a band screaming out lyrics to a couple thousand moshing fans singing in chorus. I'm literally in tears tight now.
