I didn't know if there was a tourney site worse than smash.gg, and then I entered a tourney on ESL.

Would not recommend!

Also also: Gotta love Popular Debate Streamer with over 16k followers screenshotting dissent (with handles and usernames fully displayed) against her opinions from smaller accounts and labelling them as 'harassment'.

Shouldn't be surprised that someone who positions themselves in contrast to the left doesn't understand (or willfully abuses) power dynamics.

Also, other gripes from Popular Debate Streamer's takes:

1. Gotta love the *immediate* poisoning of the well and appealing to emotion with "Why won't LEFTIES think of the children?"

2. She still does not accept that people don't need to appeal to her in order to make a point about how individuals engage and define an activity. If the question is "Define X" Then what matters is their definition, boundaries, and whether or not we are going to accept such as good faith, not whether it lines up with your (narrow) worldview.

3. And of course, we have the good ol' assertion of harm without evidence of harm.

Apparently this person is studying to become a lawyer? Maybe for the reactionary right, judging from the types of arguments she engages in.

"Pushing back against a known right-wing psyop is playing into the hands of the right-wing psyop; You must instead accept their false premise and argue within those manipulative terms" Is... Such an incredibly shitty take.

Piracy is a service issue, and there's nothing that SE is offering that is worth $100 more than the free solutions currently available on the systems this is being sold on.

SE Decided almost $100 is a fair price for 6 classic games you can emulate on a device that costs a 4th of that.

I find it wild that a partner who self-describes as not liking horror introduced and watched with me Bojack Horseman. A show who's emotional climax is an existentially horrifying dream about death and anxiety.

My take about 6 episodes into She-Ra (with knowledge about the ending) regarding abusive relationships:

Catra and Adora were both raised under an abusive parental figure that took steps to take away any power or agency away from both of them at every opportunity.

Given this, I don't think their relationship (as of the ball episode) can be strictly classified as abusive within the frameworks of power dynamics, as Catra is lashing out at somebody for being able to reclaim her autonomy. Catra does not have power over Adora to abuse in the first place.

As such, it makes sense that Adora would accept forgiveness for the wrongs that Catra has done, and it doesn't come off to me as manipulative or coercive.

Like, the site is currently unavailable due to a ddos attack, and the owner felt pressured to release a (very dishonest) statement.

If only for a week, nobody is having harmful personal information compiled for abusive purposes.

Patrick Klepek posting about the recent story gives me hope that some action will be taken.
