Like, okay, here's the thing: One of my biggest fears is the oblivion and nothingness that is death.

In the so-called "Worst part" of this series, Mike Flanagan digs *DEEP* into that very anxiety. The way that death is discussed actually made me feel something other than dread and anxiety at the prospect. I can't not love it for that.

Reading some critiques of Midnight Mass from reddit, specifically the complaints that the monologues are too long.

If you care about the mental health of your co-workers: Don't PR at the last minute and expect them to review.

I absolutely do not trust anybody who thinks along the lines of "inclusive language renders identity meaningless"

Gotta love accusing angry queer folk of regurgitating gamergate tactics whilst simultaneously whinging that the language they use to describe themselves does not align with your heteronormative standards and defending harmful rhetoric with "It's just a joke"

Understanding the often contradictory nature of identity is not "taking the position that words are basically meaningless", and harmful rhetoric is not owed a platform or immune to critique because the source is marginalized (not even along the axis of the topic, mind).

In a big "I wish I could play TortEx on Arena" mood

Doing a "No tranq pistol" (barring bosses & animals) pacifist European Extreme playthrough of MGS3.

I just beat The End (legit, and first time ever on EE!) and climbed the ladder. FUCK this game is good.

I have 4 different ps3 controllers. One's old and grimy and literally falling apart, one doesn't register 100% analog tilt at a certain angle, and two don't have pressure sensitive face buttons (meaning MGS3, the game I pretty much keep my PS3 around, is close to unplayable)

I originally went into this feeling generally confident regarding my ability to complete it and get a job, as per capitalism's whim, but not super passionate about any particular tech or job.

Now though? I'm *really* feeling great helping out other people and the idea of teaching even more folks.
