After waiting almost a month for insurance to clear and getting the parts in, I got to try my hand at fixing it https://awoo.space/media/WZeCdcDgDJ8wwA4Kxe8
The best part of this setup is it'll be easier to upgrade to a good USB keyboard in the future while also improving my Bluetooth keyboard's connection
Pros: Won't have to get up to plug in a flash drive, can hook up my printer
Cons: Not sure if I have the room/cable length, have to do work
Display and input are already close by, but I'd have to re-wire power and audio which I'm not sure if what I have on hand will reach
Done. Two hand-made pressure clips for VirtualBoy display ribbons. Hoping these will keep my new head unit running until I can afford a proper fix
