for those of you who didn't know, CHIP was a nice alternative to the raspberry pi. it was $15 and they had a wildly successful kickstarter. they also had a seprate device for ~$65 called the pocketCHIP that was a tiny case for the CHIP with a mini keyboard and some built-in PICO-8 games.

around august of this year, they just packed up shop and shut down their websites with almost no explanation.
