a tip for anyone designing a Big Thing thatll Change The World: ask yourself if you're expecting the end user to give a shit.
if you are, youre fucked. you CANNOT expect the end user to give a shit. look at ikea. they ask you to follow basic, illustrated instructions and put in three entire screws, and everyone STILL bitches and moans about it.
if your product requires the user to care, it doesnt matter how good the product is. its gonna be doomed to the junk drawer of history, a niche thing for hobbyists
