i think my problem with the Aether is that it's mostly just 'run around this patch of floating island that isn't even cool looking like the old aether is without any real goal in mind other than to probably find dungeons or something' as with the Betweenlands there are actual continuous biomes i can get to without having to use elytra or something like that.
also the Betweenlands just looks cooler in general

So far so good, nyaa. The game screen borders exist to restrict the level designer's camera to a single screen of the lowest supported aspect ratio, and the development toolbar takes up the same space the hud bar covers during normal gameplay.
