also i posted about this on my alt but i might as well post it here, too:
at one point i had all my indie games sorted into genre folders (eg rpgs, sandboxes, adventure games), etc, but i stopped doing that because it sometimes took me ages to figure out where the game i wanted to play was because i knew what it was called but didn't know what genre it was under.
and a lot of games just went in the 'misc.' category, because, well, indie games

Without moderation tools, it's worthless. Seriously. Honestly. It's like when people would slap "Brand XYZ 2000" on stuff back in the 1990's. Version 1.0 is meaningless unless it actually meets consumer needs...
And lacking moderation tools? Yeah, that doesn't meet anyone's needs.
