VRChat and Project Sansar will never ever be as good as second life for one reason: everything in both those applications are pre-built for everyone. Yes, VRChat has an SDK but it uses Unity, I shouldn't have to learn unity if I want to build a world to hang out with friends in. Sansar is a bit closer, it has it's own world editor built into it, but the one key component both these virtual worlds are missing is collaborative building, a strong point of second life.

also, Gmail used to be called 'Google Mail' in Germany for some reason I don't remember why
