@unascribed there are some odd behaviors on the server side with embeds if you use API features that are normally only "available" to bots, but they only impact the session, not the whole account
@unascribed the discord bot API is exactly the same as the API used by the user client; clients are not obligated to hit the science endpoint with any meaningful data. the API is also versioned and generally stable because they have to support older mobile and bot clients for a while when they make a breaking change
