@Kat@snouts.online it was the 4.1 story if I recall. the Sultana goes around looking for ways to support the Ala Mhigo refugees that are still in Ul'dah and help them rebuild, and of all people Godbert Manderville basically tells her she shouldn't give out handouts, and it especially sucks considering Godbert runs what is basically a casino...
@Kat@snouts.online it disappointed me that this was preceded by a arc where the Sultana learns that refugees shouldn't be given handouts and it's played uncritically by the writer of that patch's story...

Heavy thoughts about cop tactics, violence, abuse, long
Is it weird that when I hear stories of cops chasing down injured, unarmed or fleeing protestors and beating them I just kind of go "That's the terrible behavior I expect from those pigs" but now that more and more stories are flooding in about them deliberately targeting medics and support areas with overbearing force, I'm an entirely new breed of shocked and disgusted?
I'm talking about stories of a squad rushing an alleyway some street meds set up with supplies and water and deliberately and methodically smashing everything they had. I'm talking about cops aiming at the red cross armbands and medic vests leading people away from a tear gas deployment.
It's not a better or worse breed of disgust. You can't really quantify disgust that way. It's different. It comes from a different POV, it physically manifests with a different, gross flavor. I wasn't aware disgust could have flavors.
Some of these pricks are living out their fantasy of being a strategist in a war. That's a pretty chilling thought to really mull over.
