@Kat@snouts.online in my experience, the people who rushed in to capitalize on VR early on were not interested in games. it was always advertising people at the industry events I went to. so my gut feeling is it was doomed to fail like this long before Oculus was bought out.

A few days ago, @mozilla sacked 250 of the best FOSS technologists on this planet arguing serious budget constraints.
Today, we learn that Mozilla signed a three-year, $1.2+ billion deal with Google, and expected that to remain under wraps until November.
Despite of the love we have for the work they've done for decades the Mozilla organisation is insulting the FOSS community and its own amazing employees.
Not a good show, @mozilla.

This is a GitHub repository containing the source code of Pokémon Red and Blue, disassembled and refactored to human-readable (and editable!) asm.
While the code is refactored, its functionality is untouched, and the ROMs you built with this code will be identical to the one that is on US Pokémon Red or Blue cartridge.
It is a really cool and interesting project!
