anyway all I'm saying is don't fucking pretend you give a shit about harassment and justice or whatever if you're gonna do exactly what stalkers/abusive creeps want you to do to get them off your back. it is so fucking shady.

I'm fine with something like being blocked for violating rules or something, but oh don't act like I did anything fucking wrong here when this is only an issue because people stalking me want to harass me and stir up trouble.

I mean people are allowed to block whomever from their instances of course, but it would be really nice if admins didn't pretend they cared about protecting users from harassment while also blocking victims of said harassment. it's disappointing cowardice at best, and willfully ignorant with dangerous consequences at worst

please at least take actions to show you care. administrating is hard, sure. but for your users' sakes please don't just appease bullshit stalkers.

I'm having a lot of trouble with this. I've been trying to be very open about what I've been through and things we've dealt with, but we're being punished for being a target by admins who supposedly care about harassment...

what kind of message are you sending if you cave in to pressure from harassment groups like KF though? it's all lip service at that point. ban victims when it's inconvenient to have them around; look like you care about your users' safety. cool job

their admin ace says that they're against harassment, but as far as I can tell I'm blocked because of KFers harassing people into blocking me for no good reason

I don't get it. I'd be fine if I were blocked for things I actually did, but all I've been doing is trying to express the hellscape that my life has been with literal stalkers trying to intimidate people into disavowing me for bullshit reasons
