You know how I told you about a way to make Civ 5 and 6 run on OpenGL 2.1 and lower? Well, here it is. Put this in the steam "Launch Options" window:

LIBGL_ALWAYS_SOFTWARE=1 %command&

This will only affect the game you put the option in. This is Linux only, since Windows has DirectX 11 and things like that, so..yeah.

Okay, so I guess both Civ 5 and 6 need OpenGL 3 or higher to run. You can kluge it to run, but it's slow and not very good looking.

So..will Civilization 6 run on a Centrino 2? I think it's worth to test it!

Well, okay, it's just a little under £10, but..hey, I got my steam account back!

It cost me around £10 for a year of domain use, but I was able to recover my old steam account!

Okay, Win 10 won't format DD floppy disks natively, but you can trick it into doing so by the command prompt.

Simply open an elevated command prompt, run FORMAT A:, and it will begin formatting. I wil let you know if there's any ill effects.

Yeah, I've been on a bit of a kick trying to find old cartoons I used ot watch. One of which is called "Il Etait Une Fois La Vie", or "Once Upon a Time Life." It had a pretty dark-skinned woman in it who I fell in love with, and still is!
