Oh, I didn't know that the Japanese are in a new era name now!

I don't care what Mr Rogers gender was, preference was, or alignment was.
I care that he told me I was special and his friend, and meant it earnestly enough to make me believe it unqvestioningly, and to have it as a foundation for who I was as a child.
He was a goddamn saint, and he can be absolutely whatever the heck he wanted to be and felt that he was.

Based on every single game I've ever played since the late 70s, gaming gates are meant to be unlocked, picked, climbed, vaulted, corroded, hacked, bypassed, or otherwise completely smashed and crashed.
Fuck those gates. Games are for anyone, and the hell with anyone who tries to complain otherwise.
