@Azruulei Aye, I think two things would be good, one to actually use the full width of the screen, the right bar doesn't need to be the same size so shrink it, move it out, then split the width amongst the two remaining.
Once all that is done I'd say allow column collapsing, preferrably allowing you to just hide a column or let other columns take over the width to use it too. Even better if you can dynamically fade old messages or inactive columns.
@Azruulei Same, though really the main issue is the spacing. With 500 characters to work with per toot it'll quickly get cluttered around here.

@Azruulei Aye, definitely. I'm both happy that I don't have to look at things unless I want to, but also more open to post things. Still going to stay away from politics for the most part though, my life's too short.
So if you take most of the fat out of grandma dressing by exchanging the cream for low fat substitutes, does that make it like "mummy-on-a-diet" dressing instead...?
You know, one of the features I probably like most here is the content warning thingy... both as a viewer but also as a poster, because now I can actually post thoughts and art that I normally wouldn't, probably more so the latter but still, I'm happy that I can use it to share more of my art. ❤️
@maxinered The only issue is that I don't have many follows yet so things are slow, but at the same time I'm scared of adding too many. I feel like the server split will make it a little harder to follow random folk and things but the tradeoff is good.
I thought that I'd fail, but then I saw something that gave me a burst of inspiration and so I sat down and drew. It's only a sketch, but it's a start. ❤️
