We used to have two "leading" parties, one for the rich, one for the workers, but steadily they've become alike & in the process they're both kissing the arse of the local racist party, but more parties have arisen.

So what to do...? Vote.

I'm from Denmark & I'm sure you've all heard of the burka ban. Both these parties voted for, so now I vote against. My vote'll go to the Joker, because he might be a dreamer, but he's a good person. No more of this racist demonising nonsense.

Friday is upon us & it's time for a stream! ^-^ Tonight a bit of casual Pupperframeyness with Mooxie for some Squeaky shenanigans & casual Khora farming.

Looks like we'll be doing some casual Pupperframe tonight, since moo has a booster that we don't want going to waste. Will start out with an Eidolon hunt or two, so there's opportunities to possibly join, but because timing the stream will start in ~3 hours, after the dev stream.

Imagine suffering a visible handicap, to be unable to exist without being tied to visible aids every day and how it is to always be looked at, to always be viewed as your sickness or handicap before being viewed as a person. Then imagine having something that adds to that, but which you could hide away to save yourself additional looks... would you?

Yes, this is a metaphor for being trans and passing. Symbolism is an important tool for me.

That all reminded me though of a song that a friend found for me & it just fits so well... the song is literally about self harm & cutting, but if you listen beyond the literal interpretation it becomes a beautiful message for a struggling trans person.

It's become a very important song to me & I want to share it. My friend even made a piano cover specifically for & dedicated to me of it too. I can't not cry when I hear this.

I can't say I was prepared, but tonight when I visited my parents there was theme going on TV on suicide. Not the usual thing, but actually talking to those who feel the desire & those who have lost someone, to try to understand & normalise talking to others about this darkness.

My parents have seen me breaking before & while I'm better there's a lot to relate to, so I cried a lot & we also got to talk a bit about it all. Not much, but some. It's not easy.

However they're not done, they're back, new face, new name, back to abuse more, trying to do so with a clean slate, to weasel themselves back in while escaping blame of their past.

I know this, but others might not & while I've never partaken in callout culture, in this I feel that if I do *not* speak up, I will fail everyone who this arsehole is going to abuse & exploit in the future.

Yet if I call them out, they'll just repeat again... new face, new name. They're a coward.

Now this is where it gets complicated. I've already cut all ties to this scumbag, however I know that they're going to continue to abuse & exploit others.

The good thing is others realise because you don't just demote multiple high standing people without notice, in fact the backlash was so bad they deleted their account following.

I've never really partaken in it, but I understand it. It can certainly turn toxic if overdone, however sometimes it's a necessary evil.

For instance, recently I took a stand against someone for blatant abuse of power, however they'd rather demote me & try to sweep it all under the rug, blame others, than own up to their mistake & apologise.

It made me finally accept what I didn't want to see, that this person is a massive abuser & one who thinks themselves untouchable.

I find there's nothing quite as motivating for playing a specific frame than to tie them to a character of yours.

I always wanted to play Mesa more, though never really did, but then I asked myself what if my Emily was a frame... and the answer was none other. ❤️

I kinda feel like I should set a timer for when I'm drawing, to see how long I actually spend on it, but at the same time I'm afraid it'll tell me what my mind already is, that I'm not drawing enough. ^-^;;

Regardless I do need to draw more, but I'm getting there. Today flat colours of current piece is done, will need some background work though before I do the shading bit and not fully decided there.

Played Index today with @maxinered@queer.party to take advantage of the double credit weekend thing & moo got to experience the joy of competetive rhinos when we lost a match because neither rhino turned in a single point, losing to time.

Got in with another two & jokingly I made a comment to moo that I wish one would complain about my early cash-ins & true enough... so I responded thusly: "Sorry, I've lost too many matches to rhino dick measuring. Not taking the chance".
